Well if anyone out there still cares here I am!!! Finally writing something for my blog. I love to say that I don’t write during the school year because I’m just to preoccupied with my children. However, in all honesty it’s laziness, fear, procrastination and whatever else keeps us from pursuing our dreams even after investing a year of love, time and money to create EDGEWALKER . If you have been following my music page on Facebook you know that I did a mini drop on April 29th at the Priory Jazz Club in Newark New Jersey. The club was packed, the band was phenomenal, my blood family and my spiritual families were there there and I sold quite a few CD’s. It was a success.

Also, this year we did a written promotional campaign which didn’t get as many responses as I would have liked but for a freshmen CD it wasn’t bad. I was even reviewed by a Russian music critic! We did get quite a few online radio spots, I’m even going to be interviewed by a Chicago station next week! However, with all that’s going on in the world none of it means a thing unless I can find a way to use my voice, my words, and music to expose the rip in the fabric of our country so that we can begin to heal.
